Cultivating with Care
It all starts in the fertile soils of our carefully selected partner orchards. The climate—brimming with abundant sunshine and mitigated by gentle coastal breezes—is fundamental for achieving the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness in our lemons.
We work hand in hand with our growers, implementing sustainable agriculture practices that not only yield healthier fruit but also protect the ecosystem.
Harvesting at the Perfect Moment
Lemons aren’t picked randomly. Each piece of fruit is harvested precisely when it achieves the optimal size and is beginning to transform from green to our signature radiant yellow. Hand-picking ensures that the skin—crucial for its protective oils and culinary zest—remains perfectly unblemished.
State-of-the-Art Processing and Packing
Once at our facilities, the lemons undergo:
- Washing and sanitization to clear any natural dust.
- Optical sorting to categorize strictly by size, color, and grade.
- Packaging into robust, ventilated export cartons that ensure adequate airflow during transit.
The Global Logistical Dance
Transporting fresh fruit across oceans requires precision. Our lemons are loaded into strictly temperature-controlled reefers (refrigerated containers), maintaining a consistent 4-6 degrees Celsius. This suspends the ripening process slightly, preserving that “just-picked” freshness.
Within weeks, these very lemons grace the counters of supermarkets in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia—ready to add a splash of sunshine to any dish.
